you're doing well. First of all many thanks to you from the team of CSP
for being part of the Event Cyber Secure Pakistan. We hope you really
enjoyed the Event with its full theme and sessions.
Let's go through the milestones achieved during the whole journey of Cyber Secure Pakistan:
1- In 2012 the Event with the theme of 'Cyber Crimes', Cyber Secure Pakistan, was being resumed after 4 years gap.
2- In 2013 the Event sparked the industry with the specific theme of 'Hackers and Threats'.
3- In CSP13 Mr.
Mushahid Hussain, Chairman Senate Committee for Defense and Defense
Production emphasized the need of a Cyber Security Policy and Cyber
Security Law for the Country.

On July 08, 2013 In the Cyber Security Awareness Seminar conducted in
the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) Senate Defense
Committee established the Cyber Security Task Force for the making of
Cyber Security Policy and Cyber Security Law.

Then it was the span of 6 months in which extensive meetings were held
to discuss the Cyber Security Policy and Cyber Security Act. The
relevant tasks were assigned to the relevant committees e.g. Legislative
Committee, Committee to establish Cyber Security Policy and Cyber
Security Awareness Committee.

So, till the last day of 2013 the Cyber Security Task Force had
detailed Cyber Security Policy and a drafted law of Cyber Security on
which all stakeholders had confidence and trust.

In 2014 Cyber Secure Pakistan again excited the industry having theme
of 'Multi-Stakeholders Collaboration' including 14+ specific sessions
e.g. technical workshops, awareness workshops, meetups, screening of
film, security talks, panel discussions, media talks and brainstorming
sessions.

In CSP14 Senator Mushahid Hussain, Mr. Saud Mirza (DG-FIA), Dr. Shoab
Khan, Barr. Zahid Jameel, Mr. Wahaj Siraj and Mr. Jamal Khan addressed
the attendees and moved forward the journey of Cyber Secure Pakistan.

Just after 11 days of the Event, on 23rd January 2014 Pakistan Research
Center for Cyber Security (PRCS) was being inaugurated in the CASE,
Islamabad.
10- The Journey is still going on and now Cyber Secure Pakistan is coming to Lahore and Karachi.
